About

Located on Turquoise St, you have easy access to everything North PB has to offer as well as Bird Rock, La Jolla, Pacific Beach and Mission Beach. Our private ocean view upstairs unit is light and airy, with comfortable furniture. It's spacious, clean and cozy with gorgeous views through over-sized windows. Surfing, swimming and sunbathing are walking distance 5 blocks down the street at Tourmaline Surf Park or hop on a bike and head north to visit La Jolla's world famous beaches.

Good to know

The space is an upstairs separate unit perfect for couples or a small group of friends or family. The front living area has large windows with a great view of the ocean all the way to Ocean Beach (with shades for privacy). Before each guest checks in the house is professionally cleaned. We do not retain any of the cleaning fees.

Other Details to Note

The space is upstairs with a completely separate entrance. You must be able to walk up 20 steps.

Neighborhood

North P.B. is an eclectic beach neighborhood with bars, restaurants, coffee shops and shopping all within walking distance. More mature and less of a party scene than Garnet Ave, but still close enough to walk or bike to all of the action. La Jolla is a five minute drive or 15 minute bike ride. The downtown area (Balboa, the airport, Little Italy, North Park, Hillcrest, etc.) is a 15 minute drive or $10-$20 Uber/Lyft ride.

This was such an amazing stay - first with my boyfriend and then alone to work for a few days and completely comfortable for both. Spencer was very communicative before and throughout the stay and was able to kindly arrange for an earlier baggage drop off. We were also able to use their bikes to get around which was amazing! Beautiful and quiet apartment with amazing views, close enough for a good walk to the beach and nearby restaurants and cafes and it had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Would not hesitate to come back!

Trish and Spencer are awesome hosts, very friendly and responsive. The apartment is ideally located close to the beach, you can even see the ocean from the living room. Windows everywhere, you get a nice breeze any time of the day. They have some items for communal use like surfboards and bodyboards which was a nice benefit and we had loads of fun taking them to tourmaline beach close by. I would happily book this place again!

We had a very comfortable time staying here. The unit was very easy to find and parking is a breeze. It's a short walk to the beach and there are lots of good restaurants nearby. The street and neighborhood is peaceful, quiet, and very walkable. We would happily come and stay here again. Again, we thank you for your hospitality and generosity.

Spencer and Trish were excellent hosts, very responsive if we ever had a question or needed anything (one night we couldn’t find a wine bottle opener, so I messaged them asking if there was one in the unit, and they left a wine opener at the door within 3 minutes). Great location and very cute spot!

Absolutely would recommend! Stayed here for a long weekend and loved the location. Peaceful and close to the beach but a quick Uber away from anything you wish to see in the city! Perfect for a couple.

Such a wonderful stay in PB! Accessible to everything without being in the middle of it all. Even without a car, it was easy to access the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The home is also close to Bird Rock and La Jolla - some of the most beautiful neighborhoods I've ever seen! The space was well equipped with everything I needed and offered a view I could stare at for hours! Spencer and Trish were friendly, communicative, and flexible. Could not recommend this gem more and hope to visit again.

Find us

There are many things within walking and biking distance from the house. We provide free bike beach cruisers. You can also rent a dockless scooter through Bird or Lime, which are a ton of fun. Off street parking in the driveway is included.
