House Rules

Please be respectful of the neighbor in the adjacent cabin, as well as the other neighbors on the street and in the surrounding area. This is a quiet community and noise, in general, travels much farther and easier in the woods! As our guests, please be mindful of making excessive noise, especially after 10pm on any day. Thank you!

Pine Dell is a private, dead end street just before you reach the main town center of Idyllwild. We hope you enjoy the peace and quiet in the pines! Please be respectful of the neighbors and natural beauty of the wooded areas.

Guest Access

You have full access to Cabin A, which is its own private 2 bedroom/1.5 bath cabin. We have a smart lock entry system that allows you to come and go as you please, including for check in. For early check in, please inquire beforehand and we will accommodate your request as able. (Cabin A and B can be rented separately or together. Cabin B is also a completely private cabin with 2 bd, 1 ba, deck, and private driveway.)

This rustic cabin is well-stocked and comfortable. The heat was good but the place is dark. If you are interested in reading, you are out of luck. We found all the pots and pans and refrigerator space we could use and there were plenty of towels and other utensils. It took us a while to figure out where all the light switches were, how to work the bathroom floor warmers and outside light switches. There is a wood pellet furnace that worked well once we learned how to operate it. And I had to look up on the internet how to operate the Nespresso machine. There should be a manual with explanations for all of these things, possibly including photos. We did have a great time here and would return!

This was our fourth stay but first time in Cabin A. We usually stay in Cabin B. Both are awesome. We have no notes. We love both sides and will continue to stay here. It is the perfect location. It’s right on the creek, it’s private and quiet with no through traffic, and is only a short walk to the Brew Pub and center of town. We would not change a thing.

Love how easy it was to walk to town, the play ground, the grocery store. Truly enjoyed the Strawberry Creek trail right out back - felt like our own creek front place for the wee one to throw rocks in. Beds are comfortable, space was perfect for 5 of us - including a grandbaby. Terrific hosts!

This place was great! I booked this trip was to get out of the house and relax a bit before the Christmas rush. Plus, been wanting to stay in Idyllwild and check it out. Clicked through a handful of places and kept coming back to this one. The cabin(y) feel was what I was going for plus something walking distance to the main village and close to some mountain biking trails (The Hub). My family loved this place. Walking distance to the main town center along the peaceful Strawberry Creek pathway. Especially to my favorite place the Idyllwild Brew Pub. Beds, couches, kitchen all top comforts. Spencer, our host was excellent. If I had any questions, he'd message back right away. It felt like he was our personal concierge. Without hesitation I'd book this place again. Thank you, Spencer!

We spent Christmas here with our 22 yr. old daughter. It was beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. The owners put a Christmas tree up for us which made it even more cozy. The walking path beside the creek just behind the cabin was a great way to enjoy the scenery that surrounded the cabin. It was a wonderful way to spend the holiday.

We’ve Airbnb-ed a lot over the last 10 years, all over, and this place is definitely in our top 3. The hosts were perfect, friendly, responsive, and made the stay feel personal, not just a rental. Certainly among the best rentals I have seen in Idyllwild ( I have stayed there over 15 times.) I loved the floor plan. The house is tastefully equipped and decorated. The beautiful location and surrounding trees made it a perfect get-away.

We loved this place. It was clean, quiet, next to a small river with walking paths, and a great location close to town and hiking trails. We will definitely stay here again.
